Who we are

Lech Garmazeria Staropolska was founded in 1991 as a company producing smoked meats and delicatessen products of high quality targeted to the demanding customer who is looking for tasty, healthy and unique products.

We produce small series of products made by traditional methods, mostly hand made. For example stuffed chicken wings, stuffed chicken drumsticks, stuffed chicken neck and many others.

Our meats are characterized by low meat injection (about 15-25%) and smoking in a traditional smokehouse that is over the fire in the natural smoke that arises from combustion of oak trees. Besides, we offer meats baked over the fire with a particularly strong smell of smoke and flavour that make them the only ones of its kind, these are so called „Chimney pork meats”: Chimney ham, Chimney sirloin, Chimney bacon, Chimney neck.

We also produce a series of homely meat products that are cured in the old traditional way, i.e. by using brining and maturation methods. Just salt and spices are used for curing. These products have a grey colour, a strong aroma of herbs and a flavour typical of production methods used far in the past.

We produce a wide range of sausages as well. The best known is the sausage, dried by the wind. Its production process involves maturation and drying, so that it achieves its special flavour. There are two more types of the same sausage: smoked and steamed. All our sausages are produced according to old recipes and methods.

Since April 2004 we’ve moved to a new production plant which meets all the requirements of the European Union. We have the right to manufacture and sell our products on the European market.

We are the only or one of the few plants in Europe, which has adopted such a production profile.

QUALITY POLICY

As a production plant we do our best to improve the quality of our products, paying particular attention to health security, involving the whole staff operating at all levels of the plant in this process.

In our everyday activities we comply with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Hygienic Practices (GHP).

All the employees are aware of the quality policy of the company and are trained and instructed in the sphere of food safety.

We are all engaged in manufacturing products that meet consumer needs as well as in the further successful development of cooperation with our customers and suppliers.

We strive to achieve ever higher quality of the products for our customers’ and self-satisfaction. Our aim is to meet the requirements and anticipate future expectations.
